Susan McAdams, BA, C-CHW

When something (or someone) is born, whether it be an organization like GHC, or an infant in an underdeveloped country, sustainable support is needed to thrive. Filling this need is Susan’s passion and she applied this passion and expertise to help launch and build GHC as Executive Director. She now serves on the board of directors.

Susan continues to help launch and build organizations through her LLC, serving as a trusted advisor for both for-profit and non-profit organizations, guiding leaders in areas of strategy, marketing, outreach and activation. Susan is known for a depth of knowledge and experience gained from 35+ years working in marketing and sales for product, media and recruitment advertising companies as well as healthcare and public health organizations.  She is a long-time volunteer for numerous community and literacy organizations, most recently the Ohio Medical Reserve, Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati, AMEN Cincinnati, and 826 Michigan.

Susan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University, with minors in Sociology and Political Science. In 2020, she became certified as a Community Health Worker through the Ohio Board of Nursing.
